چکیده
The application of high-strength steel sheets in automobiles has been increased to achieve low bodyweight and simultaneously enhance crashworthiness. High-strength are susceptible hydrogen embrittlement it is essential evaluate their delayed fracture resistance for appropriate use. Delayed typically evaluated using the relationship between amount diffusible strength obtained from a constant load test slow strain rate technique (SSRT). It difficult monitor invading environment; thermal desorption analysis not non-destructive obtain easily desorbed specimens. permeation monitors invasion hydrogen. In this study, we permeability test. As result, relationships permeability, mechanical properties SSRT, brittle surface ratio were found be consistent among various conditions, such as under charging corrosive environments. Furthermore, little was detected Thus, its proves effectiveness method.

Ductile Failure in High Strength Steel Sheets
Developments in computer-aided engineering and the rapid growth of computational power have made simulation-driven process and product development efficient and useful since it enables detailed evaluation of product designs and their manufacturing processes. In the context of a sheet metal component, it is vital to predict possible failure both during its forming process and its subsequent usag...
متن کاملFailure of high strength steel sheets: Experiments and modelling
Failure in sheet metal structures of ductile material is usually caused by one of, or a combination of, ductile fracture, shear fracture or localised instability. In this paper the failure of the high strength steel Docol 600DP and the ultra high strength steel Docol 1200M is explored. The constitutive model used in this study includes plastic anisotropy and mixed isotropic-kinematic hardening....
متن کاملModelling of Failure in High Strength Steel Sheets
In this theses the high strength steel Docol 600DP and the ultra high strength steel Docol 1200M are studied. Constitutive laws and failure models are calibrated and verified by the use of experiments and numerical simulations. For the constitutive equations, an eight parameter high exponent yield surface has been adopted, representing the anisotropic behaviour, and a mixed isotropic-kinematic ...
متن کاملEarthquake Response Evaluation of RC Frames using High Strength Steel
To achieve better structural performance, lesser damage along with minimum residual displacements is a main objective of earthquake resistant design. In ordinary steel reinforced concrete frames, chances of severe damage because of the lower strength of conventional steel are always present during strong earthquakes. With the invention of high-strength steel (HSS) it can be anticipated that its...
متن کاملEffect of strain rate on ductile fracture initiation in advanced high strength steel sheets: Experiments and modeling
Low, intermediate and high strain rate tensile experiments are carried out on flat smooth, notched and central-hole tensile specimens extracted from advanced high strength steel sheets. A split Hopkinson pressure bar testing system is used in conjunction with a load inversion device to perform the high strain rate tension experiments. Selected surface strains, as well as local displacements, ar...
